ERNEST GOLD is a successful writer and producer, who has worked in the United States and Austrian film industries for over 15 years.

He created and wrote Austria's first ever AMAZON PRIME VIDEO series “Beasts Like Us”, (Winner 2025 Grimme Awards; 2025 German Acting Awards nominee).

In early 2025, Ernest completed a writers’ room for a new historical/horror TV series set to be an international co-production. ​

Ernest’s work includes character-driven dramas, heartfelt comedies, and effects-heavy action films such as: “Revolution” (Winner Best Sci-Fi Short, Cannes Short Film Festival), “The Shaman” (Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival), and “Houseplants” (Winner Best Short Drama, New Hampshire Film Festival) starring Zazie Beetz (best known for her roles in Deadpool 2 and Joker).
 

He’s the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship, and alum of the prestigious NYU Tisch - School of the Arts and Filmacademy Vienna.
